The Jabmo ABM Platform offers powerful account-based analytics to help marketing and sales team understand how their key accounts are engaging. Dashboard filters can help you zero-in on the data that matters most to you and transform analytics into insights.

Page Filters

Page-level filters available are available at the top of your dashboard and allow you to apply filters to all the visuals (and data) available in the page. This is an easy way to set up the view based on your preferences or use cases from the start.

Page Level Filters - Jabmo ABM Platform

Visual Filters

Most of the visuals shown in a dashboard are interactive—allowing you to click on dimensions and objects of interest. This will have the same effect as applying a page level filter and will narrow down the data on all applicable visuals based on your selection. This is at times easier than applying a combination of page-level filters.

Using the Filters

You can make use of page filters and/or visual filters to narrow down your analytics to show the objects or activities you commonly need to see. Filters can be used to include or exclude data. They are a powerful tool to help you zero-in on meaningful engagements from your target accounts and at the same time zoom out to see the impact of your marketing efforts on key account growth. After applying your filters, you can export your views (PDF or CSV) and share the insights with your sales/marketing teams.

Understanding Your Filters

Jabmo provides several out-of-the-box filters to help you slice and dice through your data. Below is a list and the description of all the pre-built filters you can use in your dashboards.

Filter Name

Description

Start Date

The start date of the time range for which you want to see analytics. Set by default to Jan 1st of the current year.

End Date

The end date of the time range for which you want to see analytics. Set by default to Dec 31st of the current year.

If your organization has multiple divisions/business units enabled within a Jabmo ABM Subscription, the division names will appear here. Selecting a division will show data specific to that division’s ABM program, including web traffic, key accounts and engagements.

Account Type

Allows you to select your ABM Accounts, Key Accounts or a selection of both. Selecting your ABM Accounts will show data only for the accounts in your ABM Program.

Allows you to select a single account/company from the list of available accounts for this dashboard. Useful for narrowing down analytics to a single key account.

Advertising Status

Allows you to select only the accounts actively receiving account-based IP ads through Jabmo and narrow down your analytics for these accounts only.

Label Category

Label Categories are used to define custom filter categories. This allows you to select custom filter categories tied to accounts.

Label Value

Label Value works in conjunction with Label Category. This allows you to filter based on a custom filter value assigned to a single or set of accounts.

Key Pages

Allows you to select between groupings of Key Pages on your website and see engagement activities happening only on the Key Pages or grouping of Key Pages selected.

Buying Stage

Allows you to select one or more of 3 out-of-the-box buying stages (Awareness, Consideration & Decision) and narrow down your analytics to key accounts currently in one of the selected stages.
Note: This requires the buying stages journey analytics feature to be configured and enabled for your subscription.

Channel

Allows you to narrow down your analytics to one or more of your marketing channels and see all the engagement and activities happening through those channels. Also includes integrated marketing sources/platforms.

Country

Allows you to narrow down your analytics based on the country from which you are interested in seeing engagements and activities.

Email

Allows you to select individual email addresses of known contacts who submitted a form on your website and see their traffic source and buyer journey.

Allows you to select URL(s) and narrow down your analytics to the concerned page(s). URL selection shown will depend on preexisting filters applied.

Using Label Categories and Label Values

Label categories and associated values are a way to support custom filters on any account or set of accounts. A new label category allows you to create a custom filter category and label values allow you to create filter values for that category.

  • Defining account tiers in your ABM Program using custom label categories and values:

Note: If you want to setup custom Label Categories and Label Values, please send your request to your Jabmo Client Success Manager.

Using Key Pages Filter

The Key Pages filter is one of the most commonly used filters. By categorizing key pages on your website, you are then easily able to include or exclude them from your reports. While the applications are limitless, this is used heavily to create analytics showing for example only activities on product pages, services pages or pages relevant only for a specific business unit or division.

Note: If you want to designate and categorize key pages, please send your request to your Jabmo Client Success Manager.

FAQ

  • I am not seeing any value when selecting a filter, what happened?
There is most likely not enough engagement data based on the filter. Try expanding the filter selection and making sure that other filters applied are not narrowing down the selection too much.

  • I applied a filter but can't get it off now. How do I reset the filters?
Use the reset filters button at the top of the page where the filter controls are.

  • There are no filter values for a specific filter I want to apply, why?
Filter values are dynamic and dependent on other filters applied to the page. For example, filtering the data at a country level will make other filters show selection values relevant only to that particular country. The city filter will then show options only relevant to the country selected. This behavior applies to filters related to web pages (like Key pages) and filters related to accounts as well.
